Hannes Rall (alias Hans-Martin Rall) es catedrático de Estudios de Animación y profesor asociado (Investigación) en la Escuela de Arte, Diseño y Medios de Comunicación de la Universidad Tecnológica Nanyang de Singapur. También es un exitoso director de cortometrajes independientes de animación: sus obras han sido seleccionadas en 845 festivales internacionales y han ganado 80 premios. Sus libros Animation: From Concept to Production (2017) y Adaptation for Animation: Transforming Literature Frame by Frame (2019) han sido publicados por CRC Press.
