Daniel Villa (Zaragoza, 1982) es licenciado en Publicidad y Relaciones Públicas, Comunicación Audiovisual, y doctor en esta última rama por la Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Actualmente es colaborador del departamento de Comunicación Audiovisual y Publicidad II de la facultad Ciencias de la Información, participa en un grupo de investigación sobre las claves del cine de ensayo español contemporáneo como investigador y profesor, y disfruta de una beca de investigación en Osaka por la Japan Foundation. Desde 2005 trabaja como editor y director de postproducción en cine y televisión.

Daniel Villa has a degree in Advertising and Public Relations and Audiovisual Communication from the Complutense University of Madrid, and a Ph.D. in the latter branch from the same university and collaborates in a research group. For 15 years he has worked as an editor and post-producer in film, television and advertising. He has made several trips to Japan to investigate the formal aspects of manga and anime. Since October 2018 he has been awarded a scholarship in Osaka by the Japan Foundation to carry out research on the influence of language and sound in the adaptation of the manga to anime.
